Transnational project meeting 1

February 1, 2021

The first transnational project meeting of the SHEFCE project took place on Monday 1 – Tuesday 2 February 2021. The meeting was held online meeting instead of a physical meeting (planned in Zagreb, Croatia), due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.

The meeting had two objectives:

  • To present and discuss in detail the plan for the launch of Intellectual Output 1 of SHEFCE project – University  Action-Planning for Community Engagement. A training was held on how to apply the TEFCE Toolbox for Community Engagement in Higher Education, as the basis for action planning. The TEFCE Toolbox will be applied by Danube University Krems (Austria), Free University of Brussels (Belgium) and the University of Girona (Spain)

  • To present the initial conceptual proposal of a European Community Engagement Heatmap (Intellectual Output 4)  – in the form of a discussion of the SHEFCE heatmap Team’s analysis of who the potential users of such a tool would be, what are their needs, and how the Heatmap could respond to these needs.

The meeting resulted in interactive and critical discussions and agreements on next steps in the implementation of the action, planning and heatmap.
All meeting materials (agenda, minutes and presentations) are available in the Meetings section. (LINK)
