TEFCE/SHEFCE cross-over webinar: ‘Expert panels on the Future of Community Engagement in Higher Education

IDE organised two successful expert panels on 27-28.10.2021, to mark the end of the TEFCE project

and to the continuation of the SHEFCE project. Two panel discussions (lasting 40 minutes) took, the

first providing perspectives of stakeholders in Europe that have been developing new networks,

initiatives and frameworks to further advance this agenda; while the second panel provided

perspectives of policymakers and European-level university associations. In addition to speaker form

the European Commission, the following SHEFCE associate partners agreed to be the panel

speakers:

• Michael Gaebel, European University Association

• John Edwards, European Association of Institutions in Higher Education
